Talk to us
support@alivescore.app
A real person reads every email. Usually within a day, sometimes within an hour.
There's no ticket system, no chatbot, no "your request is important to us." It's an inbox, and the person who wrote the code is the person who answers it. Use it for anything — a question, a bug, a complaint, an idea, or to tell us we got something wrong.
Most of what people ask is below.
The waitlist
How do I know if I'm one of the first 100? Your position is set by the moment your email reached us — earlier submission, lower number. The page tells you your founding-member number the second you join, and we'll confirm it again at launch when we send your code. It's a queue and the clock decides; there's no favouritism and no way to jump it.
How do I leave the list? One click on the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Or email support@alivescore.app and say the word. No forms, no "are you sure?", no retention flow, no guilt. Your address is removed — not hidden, not suppressed.
Will you spam me? No. Expect an email roughly every few weeks while we build — one screen, one decision, one number — and one email the day Alive launches. That's the whole plan. If that's more than you want, unsubscribe and we won't take it personally.
Can I test it before launch? Probably. Founding members get first access to TestFlight before the public. If you specifically want in on that, reply to the email you got when you joined and say so.
I signed up twice by accident. Don't worry about it — email us and we'll tidy it up. Duplicates aren't held against you. Deliberately farming spots with a dozen addresses is a different thing (see the Terms), but an accidental double-tap isn't that.
The founding-member offer
What exactly do I get? Alive Pro free for 3 months at launch — the real paid tier, including the insight engine and adaptive targets, not a trial version. Plus a permanent founding-member number in the app, for as long as Alive exists.
How do I claim it? We'll email the address you signed up with, with a code to redeem in the app. You'll have 60 days to use it, and we'll remind you before that window closes.
What happens after the free 3 months? It ends, and nothing happens automatically. We won't auto-charge you. We'll tell you before the 3 months are up and you decide whether to subscribe. If you do nothing, no subscription starts and no money moves. That's written into the Terms, not just promised here.
What if Alive never launches? Then there's no app and no offer, and nothing is owed to anyone. You paid nothing and lost nothing — that's the honest deal. We fully intend to ship, but we're not going to dress intention up as a guarantee.
The app
When does it launch? We're not going to invent a date to create urgency.
Alive launches when the core loop is genuinely good — when logging a workout feels better than anything else on your phone, and the insight engine actually says something true about your body. Shipping it half-finished would waste the only shot we get at a first impression.
You'll get an email the day it's ready. That's the entire reason the list exists.
Is there an Android version? Not at launch. Alive is built natively for iOS and leans on Apple's on-device intelligence and health frameworks in ways that don't have clean equivalents on Android yet. We'd rather ship one platform properly than two badly.
An Android version is possible later. If you're on Android, join the list anyway — that's genuinely how we'll decide whether to build it, and we'll tell you if it happens.
Do I need an Apple Watch, a Whoop, or an Oura ring? No. Alive reads whatever your iPhone already knows — steps, sleep, workouts — through Apple Health. If you wear something that writes to Apple Health, Alive uses that too and your recovery picture gets sharper.
But the point is that you shouldn't need a $200 wearable and a monthly membership to understand your own body.
How much will it cost? The plan is $9.99/month or $59.99/year, with a free trial. That may change before launch. If you're one of the first 100 on the list, your first 3 months are free either way.
There will never be ads, and we will never sell your data. That's what the subscription is for.
What makes this different from MyFitnessPal, Whoop, or MacroFactor? They're each good at one thing. MyFitnessPal counts calories. Whoop measures recovery. MacroFactor nails nutrition. Hevy logs your sets.
None of them tell you the three are connected — that your bench went up because you slept, not because you ate more. That connection is the entire product. Alive is one score across five pillars and an engine that learns your personal equations, not the average person's.
What's the Alive Score, in one line? An ELO-style rating for your body. It moves each morning based on how you actually lived the day before, across training, food, water, steps, and sleep. One great day doesn't make you elite; one rough day doesn't sink you. It's trajectory, honestly measured.
The quiz
Is that my real Alive Score? No. It's an illustration — five taps and a rough estimate. The real score comes from data you actually log, across five pillars, over weeks. Think of the quiz as a trailer, not the film.
Did you save my answers? No. The quiz runs entirely inside your browser. Your answers and your result never reach us — not even if you join the waitlist afterwards. Close the tab and it's gone.
My score seems low / high. It's five questions. It can't evaluate a human being, and it isn't trying to. Don't read anything into it, and definitely don't make decisions about your body based on it. (See the Terms — the quiz is not medical advice, and neither is anything else on this site.)
Privacy
Where does my health data go? Onto your phone, and nowhere else. Alive is built on-device — your workouts, your food, your body, your score live on your iPhone, not on our servers.
What do you collect on this site? Your email address. That's the entire list. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy — it's short and worth two minutes.
Delete everything you have on me. Email support@alivescore.app. It's done within days, and we'll confirm when it is. You don't need to explain why.
Who's building this
One person.
Alive is independent and self-funded — no investors, no growth team, no marketing department, no ads. That's why it looks the way it does, why it doesn't nag you, and why an email to support gets answered by the person who wrote the code.
It also means we're slower than a funded team, and honest about that.
Something's broken
The form won't submit / the page looks wrong / the quiz is stuck. Email support@alivescore.app and tell us what happened and what device you're on. A broken form is worse than no form — we'd genuinely rather know.
You found a security issue. Please email support@alivescore.app. We'll take it seriously and we won't be weird about it.

If you make content in fitness, lifting, or quantified self and want early access, say so — we'd rather put Alive in the hands of people who'll be honest about it than run ads at strangers.
This page covers the waitlist. When Alive launches, it grows to cover the app itself — subscriptions, billing, HealthKit permissions, data export and deletion, and troubleshooting.
Alive — one number, your whole body, every morning.
